is Chris Blackwell a vampire?

After producing several singles for Bob Marley ( like small axe and duppy conquerer ) Lee 'scratch'Perry sold his mastertapes to Trojan Records without telling Bob Marley, Peter Tosh or Bunny Wailer.
When Bob Marley & the Wailers signed to Island Records later that year, Perry began accusing Chris Blackwell (head of Island Records) of cultural imperialism and psychic vampirism.

Perry's grudge against Blackwell continues to resurface and references can be found in even his present day recordings.

In an interview Scratch states:

“You know, that Chris Blackwell disgusts me, makes me want to vomit. He invited me to the opening of the Compass Point studio in Nassau and there I saw him drink the blood of a freshly killed chicken. He thought I was into all that voodoo and obeah (African magic for inflicting damage on enemies, much feared in the Caribbean) stuff, and offered me some. It was disgusting. […] I, Lee Perry, will swear that before any judge, solicitor or barrister he could employ”

This controversial single directly accuses Blackwell again of being a practicioner of voodoo rituals, and that is indeed him caricatured on the sleeve. It also contains the line 'He killed Bob Marley, and took away his royalties .....
The original( 1981 ) was withdrawn after lawyers deciphered Scratch's lyrics.
