Producer Keith Hudson is considered something of a legend among fans of seventies Reggae. His deep and heavy rhythms set the benchmark for numerous Roots producers and when he passed away in 1984, aged just 38, Jamaican music lost one of its most enigmatic and creative forces. Gathered on this 10" single are five tracks highlighting two of the producer's most enduring rhythms. track 1 features Ken Boothe's 1969 hit 'Old Fashioned Way', along with DJ cuts by U Roy and Dennis Alcapone, while track 4 & 5 are two sublime instrumentals over the producer's famed 'S. 90' rhythm, performed by melodica maestro, Augustus Pablo, and leading session crew, Zap Pow, respectively.
