Originally issued by On-U Sound in 1981. "Creation Rebel were the original On-U Sound collective. Threat To Creation is the first of Cherry Red's collaborations with Adrian Sherwood and On-U Sound. Creation Rebel and The New Age Steppers were made up of a loose collective of various members of The Slits, The Pop Group & Aswad. Formed in 1978 they acted as the rhythm section for Price Far I's European tour, but were always primarily a studio outfit experimenting with 'the unique possibilities of space and sound within the disciplined structures of the rhythm.'"
