Martha Velez - "Escape from Babylon"
Martha velez a country artist from origin recorded one album at the tuff gong studio(1976).Producer was bob Marley.
from an interview with martha Velez:
"We did it in the American way of sitting down and hammering out ideas, lyrics and music ideas, hooks etc"
the sad thing is that most tracks are butchered versions from well known Marley tracks. It's a bogus album, but nevertheless interesting to hear. Back in the days it had a limited release, and after that, It has never been re-released , even in vinyl, and certainly has never been released on CD or other digital format, and that doesn't surprise me at all.....
